APPIANO GENTILE - Time is of the essence for the Nerazzurri. The Europa League last-16 stage is just around the corner and - following their return from Naples late last night - the lads were straight back to work this morning.
Many of the players stayed over at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, thus shortening their recovery times. Those who featured in the game at the San Paolo worked with the fitness coaches in the new state-of-the-art gym which overlooks the pitches in Appiano Gentile. Fausto Salsano meanwhile ran the session with the players who came on or weren't involved at Napoli.
Roberto Mancini spent the morning at the coach of the year awards at the national training centre in Coverciano.
