MILAN – Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin gave his take on Inter’s narrow defeat by Fiorentina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this evening: "There were a couple of times when you could see we were a bit tired. Fiorentina scored from one of the few chances they had.
"We made a whole host of chances, but we couldn’t convert them. We kept going right until the end. I had a good chance to score with a bit of space, but it hit the post and that’s how it went. I feel the confidence of the coach and everything is set for me to succeed and help the team," explained the Nerazzurri midfielder.
Guarin concluded with a word on the Europa League: "We need to be aiming to win it, but of course we need consistency to achieve that. I feel a responsibility to try to create chances and help my team-mates. Always."
