CELTIC V INTER STAT PACK

A selection of pre-match facts and figures ahead of tonight's Europa League tie at Celtic Park

Inter on nine-match unbeaten run in Europe
The Nerazzurri haven't lost a European game since suffering a 3-0 reverse at the hands of Tottenham in the Europa League last 16 on 7 March 2013. In the return leg of that tie and eight games in this year's edition, Inter have recorded six wins and three draws.

19 February a special date at Inter
19 February 1995 was the date of Massimo Moratti's first game as president after purchasing the majority share from Ernesto Pellegrini the day before. The Serie A fixture saw Inter beat Brescia 1-0 with a goal by Nicola Berti. Today is also Mauro Icardi's 22nd birthday: he was born in Rosario in 1993.

Goals in last six European outings for Celtic
Celtic have scored in each of their last six games in European competitions, notching 10 in the process. The last team to prevent them from hitting the target was Maribor in a Champions League qualifier on 6 August 2014 (Celtic 0-1 Maribor).

Scotland, land of conquest for Italians: one defeat in last nine visits
Italian clubs clearly have the upper hand in recent European encounters played on Scottish soil. They have lost just once in their last nine trips up north: Celtic 2-1 AC Milan in the 2007/08 Champions League. The other results in that period are five draws and three Italian victories.

Hungarian official Vad the man in charge
Istvan Vad of Hungary has been appointed to oversee proceedings in tonight's match. An international referee since 2007, this is his first time in charge of a game involving a Scottish side and his first with Inter. On five occasions he has refereed other Italian clubs, whose record with him is W1, D3, L1.

Deila vs Mancini, round 1
This is the first meeting between Ronny Deila and Roberto Mancini in a competitive fixture.
