APPIANO GENTILE – There was a high-octane training session for the Nerazzurri at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti this afternoon, with the players getting stuck into a friendly match on a reduced-size pitch and a series of finishing drills. Watching on was Swiss national team coach Vladimir Petkovic – accompanied by Antonio Manicone – who chatted with Marco Fassone, Javier Zanetti and Piero Ausilio, as well as with Xherdan Shaqiri, who caught the eye with some impressive play.
As if that wasn’t enough, there were more special visitors for the Nerazzurri in the form of participants of the Junior Tim Cup, the U14s tournament sponsored by Centro Sportivo Italiano, TIM and Lega Serie A. It was a great occasion for the youngsters, who were able to spend time with some of their footballing idols.
