INTER MAKE VIAREGGIO CUP SEMI-FINALS

A Palazzi goal and Bonazzoli brace saw the Nerazzurri Primavera beat Pescara to make it through to the semi-finals of the Viareggio Cup

1/25

LA SPEZIA – Stefano Vecchi’s Inter Primavera side have sealed their place in the Viareggio Cup semi-finals after beating Pescara 3-1 at the Stadio Ferdeghini.

A strong start saw the Nerazzurri take the lead in the third minute, with Bonazzoli heading home from a Camara cross.  Palazzi doubled the Inter lead three minutes after half-time, unleashing a spectacular right-footed effort from outside the box that left the Pescara goalkeeper with no chance.

On 63 minutes, Miangue saw red after bringing Moreira down in the box – the Pescara man made no mistake from the spot to reduce the arrears. After a tense final period, Bonazzoli popped up again to make it 3-1 and send his side through to the semi-finals.
