DAMMAM - Inter Academy's travelling party has reached Dammam, the capital of Al-Sharqiyya in Saudi Arabia where work will begin on 15 November for Inter Academy. Tomorrow they will hold a press conference to present the project.
Before the organisers made made they journey out to Saudi Arabia, the local coaches received three weeks' training with the Nerazzurri coaching staff at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti.
Today the group will visit Riyadh and Prince Abdhulla Bin Abdulaziz, the newly named Minister of Sport.
Among those present are Nerazzurri vice president Javier Zanetti, who received a great ovation from supporters at the airport, Marco Monti, the project's technical leader, and Barbara Biggi, who is in charge of the commercial side of the initiative.
The partnership which will be presented tomorrow follows a long selection process from both sides.
Inter Academy in Saudi Arabia will be called Sporti Inter Academy. This is a project which is growing on a daily basis with new countries involved all the time.
