MILAN - Brazilian defender Juan Jesus had a chance to give his take on the game as he spoke to Inter Channel.
"We did everything we had worked on during the week, and today you saw a team with heart and fighting spirit. We have to keep up this level of hunger. Then the results come. In my opinion Napoli didn’t deserve to draw because we did everything to win, but that’s the way the game goes unfortunately," he began.
"Today we saw that we have to give our all. A 1,000 per cent, not just 100. We have to win and come back like before. When the San Siro sings like that it really charges us up. I even got a bit emotional and it gave me chills. We need fans like that. They’re our 12th man. If they keep supporting us like that we’ll always play great matches.
"We also tried to move the ball around well. Although we were finding space Napoli were always compact, with two lines of four. But the team did a lot, which is what counts.
"It’s a pleasure for me to be back with the national team, even in a period of so many changes. However, I have to think of Inter first. Should Brazil call me up then I’ll be happy because it will mean I’ve done well with Inter.
"Am I happy? Yes, because for our second goal I passed the ball to Dodo, who then passed it to Hernanes [laughing]."
