GETTING TO KNOW DODÒ

"Mazzarri played a big part in my decision, I felt positive right from the word go"

PINZOLO -  Today is officially Dodò's first day as a Inter player. The Brazilian full-back was unveiled to the media in the press room at the Stadio Pineta.

What have you made of the club so far?
"I liked it right away and I must say the whole mood felt good."

People have always said that you're a huge prospect, that you have bags of potential on top of your already excellent ability. Where do you think you can improve?
"We can always improve. I've already come on since I've been in Italy but to become a great player you need to work even harder."

What's the first thing Mazzarri said to you?
"What coaches usually say, that with enough hard work the sky's the limit."

What's your best attribute?
"Getting forward. Whether it's in a back three or back four, it makes no difference. I attack when I play."

You've joined from Roma. Are you disappointed not to play in the Champions League or happy to be a part of Inter's project?
"Everyone wants to play in the Champions League but I want to do so with Inter next season. The Champions League is the dream of every footballer."

What similarities are there between Inter and Roma?
"I've felt the Inter fans' passion since day one and I've received a lot of messages. I can't wait to play at the Meazza."

How much of a part did Mazzarri play in your decision? What do you expect from the San Siro?
"A great deal, I spoke to him before I came in. His ideas and his project left me in no doubt whatsoever. As for the San Siro, I've already played there and I've seen it full in the Coppa Italia. I'm keen to get out there but it'll definitely be wonderful like the Olimpico."

What memories will you take away from Roma?
"I will always have great memories. There were some tough times but that's a part of life. Luckily my team-mates always supported me."
