PINZOLO - Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Sky Italia this evening after travelling up to the team's pre-season training camp in Pinzolo from Milan.
It's a busy period with lots of negotiations ongoing. Have you been able to find a bit of time to speak to Andrea Ranocchia after Walter Mazzarri promoted him in his press conference yesterday?
"I've said hello to him as I have with all the others but no, we haven't had time to talk yet. There's no problem when both parties want the same thing."
Talks with Rubin Kazan over M'Vila seemed to have ground to a halt and yet we've seen photos that seem to tell us a different story...
"I've seen the photos too. I can say that we all need to be a little bit patient. It was probably a case of the lad being so excited and determined to join Inter that he couldn't wait for it to be official. We have to wait until Rubin put down in black and white what they've already told us verbally. Everything's been done between us and the boy."
Are there any other negotiations which could come to fruition in the near future, like Gary Medel joining Inter?
''We think we already have a lot of skilful players in midfield and we're looking for someone that offers us something a bit different. Someone who could complete our set of midfielders if M'Vila should also join. Medel has those things we're looking for, as do other players."
This morning's newspapers mentioned Pereyra too.
"One will come in and then we'll need to start thinking about who's going to be moving on or else we'll end up with lots of players. At this stage you need to make sure you balance things as well. And put together a squad where everyone's pulling in the same direction. You don't want to have too big a squad."
Is Jovetic another possibility?
"To be completely honest with you we did contact Man City and they told us he's not for sale."
But there's still time until 31 August, right?
"The transfer window shuts on 2 September this year."
