MILAN – The countdown is ticking and it won't be long before Inter are touching down in the United States ahead of the Guinness International Champions Cup (@IntChampionsCup). The prestigious pre-season tournament, now in its second year, will be held from 24 July to 4 August and this summer the Nerazzurri will be joined by Real Madrid, Manchester United, Roma, Manchester City, Liverpool, AC Milan and Olympiacos.
You can find out what awaits our boys in the special section on our website and follow the team during the US tour on the club's social media channels with the hashtag #InterForUS, allowing you to get up close to the players at all times.
Walter Mazzarri's men will be carrying out their preparations at the Catholic University of America (@CatholicUniv) in Washington, one of the oldest universities in the United States. Established as an education centre in 1887, it began offering degree courses in 1904. There's even a small piece of Italy at the university: the campus is located in the Brookland neighbourhood, also known as "Little Rome".
The Catholic University of America boasts many famous alumni, such as Jason Miller, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, actress and Oscar nominee Susan Sarandon and Brian M. Cashman, general manager of the New York Yankees.
