Here's how inter.it it has changed since we had the idea for the first website for an Italian football club 18 years ago

MILAN - There's only one Inter. And in 1996, when the foresight was there to see the net as a unique channel for football fans, there really was only Inter. The first Italian football club to appear in the virtual world. A special way to broaden the Nerazzurri family and it was clearly more than just a shop window of a website: already back then it featured content, updates and personal dialogue. An example? The wall, a bulletin board on which everyone could exchange ideas, opinions and comments. Remind you of anything? Right, the Facebook Wall! Only 8 years earlier.
Then later came the need to communicate in different languages, all the way up to the current seven we have on the site. inter.it has been continuously revamped, not unlike the way a sculptor begins with a block of marble and proceeds to chip away, chiselling, filing and polishing, until the desired result is achieved. inter.it has accompanied the team in its successes, celebrating them and adding its own flavour, while revealing sneak previews and curiosities. All the way up to the start of the club’s social networking websites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, all with an enormous following. As we said, there’s only one Inter. And when it comes to the web, the rule applies even more.
