VERONA – After Chievo v Inter, Javier Zanetti, Danilo D'Ambrosio and Federico Bonazzoli spoke with Inter Channel.
Here are their words:
Captain Javier Zanetti spoke first: "In the final fifteen minutes I thought… these are my final fifteen minutes. Thanks to everyone for so much love and support. We’ll see each other soon since I’ll still be a part of this big family. A kiss. I love you all."
Then the microphone passed to Danilo D'Ambrosio: "I've played in both a 3-man defence as well as a 4-man. It’s not the formation that counts but your desire. I’ve never played in Europe so I’m fascinated by it. Next season we’ll be missing many great players, both on and off the pitch. I thanked them all one by one. Next season we’ll have to give more, each and every one of us. A great player doesn’t make his presence felt by talking every day but by doing something more in training. They were fundamental to me."
Finally, Federico Bonazzoli spoke after making his Serie A debut: "I feel so emotional right now. I’m really happy. It all went well except for the result. I managed to make a dream come true, a dream I had since childhood. Things will restart from tomorrow. Now I’m going home to rest.
"I couldn’t believe when the coach called me. He told me to be relaxed and go out there and play as I know how. I thank my friends, my parents and my sister Beatrice."
