KUZMANOVIC: "WE'LL NEED A GREAT GAME AGAINST ROMA"

"We had our chances but just couldn’t turn them into goals. We needed that 2nd-half attitude for the entire game"

MILAN – After Inter v Cagliari, Nerazzurri midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic responded to questions on Inter Channel. This is what he had to say:

"The penalty on Icardi? It should have been given in my opinion. As far as the game went, we’re not happy with a draw at home. We lost two points. It hurts to draw against the ‘small’ teams.

"We ran into some problems today, and despite the chances we had we weren’t able to take full points. I couldn’t tell you why we played poorly in the first half. We always have to be careful defending against counterattacks. We had our chances but we just couldn’t turn them into goals.

"Our rhythm was a bit slow in the first half. We should have had same attitude we showed in the second half for the entire game. Roma? We’ll need to play a great game."
