MILAN
- "Methodological proposals for technical and sport training in youth
football". This is the theme of the first of three workshops that Inter
Academy technical director Marco Monti and fitness coach Stefano Rapetti will
hold at the facilities of Technos College in Tokyo, from 8 to 12 December 2013
(the other two are scheduled for the spring and summer of 2014).
The
two Nerazzurri coaches will alternate theoretical lessons in the morning with
practical sessions on the pitch in the afternoon with the Inter Academy Japan’s
U-12 players. Thanks to the important contribution from former Nerazzurri player
Massimo Ciocci and former Japanese international Shoji Jo, the Inter Academy
Japan (where Ciocci is technical director) is achieving excellent results.
The
two schools in Yoyogi and Sagamihara (neighbourhoods in Tokyo), which opened
less than two months ago, have been a great success with more than 200 children
enrolled in age groups ranging from 4 to 12 years.
