APPIANO GENTILE - Andrea Ranocchia is the guest on InterNOS this evening. The 9th episode of the season starts at 21:00 on Inter Channel.
First of all the defender discussed his recent commitments with the Italian national team: "I'm still a bit tired from the travelling, but unfortunately I can't play for Inter on Sunday because I'm suspended and I'll have time to recover. We played really well in London, in front of a great crowd. I really enjoyed it. We played two metres from the fans and that creates a sort of bond while you play. But over there, no one steps out of line!"
Ranocchia couldn't envisage a life without football: "I couldn't to be honest, no, because it's always been my passion. I always wanted to do this job, and I can't imagine a life without football, even though when you stop playing, another one begins. What was Andrea Ranocchia like at 15? I was at Perugia. I'm very attached to my home in Assisi, my family are there, all my friends are there and the first two years I spent away were very tough because I was 16 years old. It wasn't easy, then the passion won out and I no longer noticed."
