MILAN – Rolando highlighted the importance of ending a three-match winless run as he chatted with Inter Channel after scoring the fourth goal in Inter's 4-2 success over Verona.
"It was hugely important to get this win because we'd gone three games without taking all three points. We played really well and created more than they did, it's just a shame we let in those two goals."
The Portuguese defender went on to discuss his goal and how he's finding life in Milan: "It's a special moment for me and I'm really happy here. I love this city but I'm here because Inter wanted me and I have to repay them on the pitch.
"I'd like to dedicate the goal to my granddad Manuel. I wear the number 35 for him, it's the year he was born. He's the person who made me into a man and I owe him almost everything. I must admit that I was lucky to score though - I just happened to be in the right place at the right time!"
