Moretti in line for 200th game in Serie A
If he plays tonight, Emiliano Moretti will clock up his 200th career appearance in Serie A. His 199 matches to date have come wearing the colours of Fiorentina, Juventus, Modena, Bologna, Genoa and Torino. Moretti made his top-flight debut in Italy on 31 March 2001 in Vicenza 1-1 Fiorentina.

Torino's penalty-packed 2013/14
Matches involving Torino have seen plenty of penalties in the first seven Serie A fixtures this season: three for Ventura's side (the most of any team, joint highest with Roma) and three against (also the most of any team, join with Parma).

Just one home victory in ten for Toro

Torino have won just one of their last ten home games at the Stadio Olimpico across the last season and the current campaign: 2-0 over Sassuolo on 25 August. They have drawn four and lost five of the other nine matches in that sequence.

October a bad month for Mazzarri
October is the month in which Walter Mazzarri's teams have collected the fewest points on average considering professional league fixtures only: W21, D9, L24 from 54 matches averaging 1.33 points per game. Mazzarri's points average is lower in June (1.0) but championship matches are not always played in that month.

Inter unbeaten in four on the road for first time in a year

The Nerazzurri have not lost on their travels since 5 May, when they went down 3-1 at Napoli in a Serie A meeting. Since then they have collected two draws and two victories, their longest unbeaten streak away since August-November 2012 when they notched up ten straight wins.

Goals from the bench for Inter
Walter Mazzarri's side have scored the most goals of any Serie A side through substitutes after seven rounds of top-flight fixtures: four, with Icardi and Milito netting two apiece after coming off the bench.

Ventura has beaten Mazzarri once, 10 years ago! Mazzarri's sides always score
Previous competitive matches between Gian Piero Ventura and Walter Mazzarri are tipped heavily in the current Nerazzurri boss's favour: he holds a record of five wins, two draws and one defeat against his opposite number. Ventura's only success came in their first ever meeting as coaches: Cagliari 4-1 Livorno on 18 October 2003 (Serie B). Mazzarri's teams have hit the net at least once in each of those eight games with 19 goals in total.

Ventura yet to beat Inter or keep a clean sheet
Gian Piero Ventura is pitting his wits against the Nerazzurri for the 11th time in his coaching career today and he has yet to record a victory, with four draws and six defeats to his name. Inter scored in all of those matches, racking up 27 goals in the process. Ventura made his Serie A coaching debut on 13 September 1998 in Cagliari 2-2 Inter at the Sant'Elia.

One defeat in ten for Mazzarri against Torino and no clean sheets at Toro's ground
Walter Mazzarri's record against Torino reads W5, D4, L1. He has yet to come away from Turin with a clean sheet in five however and has conceded seven goals on Granata turf.
