MILAN - The whole of Italy – the sports world included – is in mourning for the victims of the tragedy which occurred off the coast of Lampedusa. That's why CONI president Giovanni Malagò has informed all sporting federations, associated disciplines and bodies promoting sport to "observe a minute's silence at all sporting events in Italy over the course of the weekend."
A minute's silence will therefore be observed at Inter v Roma. Before kick-off, the players – in an agreement between the two clubs – will wear T-shirts bearing the message "La vita è un diritto di tutti #Lampedusa" (Everyone has a right to life #Lampedusa).
