MILAN - Inter and Roma have produced record statistics ahead of their big match on Saturday evening in Week 7 of Serie A 2013/14. At the Meazza with Mr. Tagliavento in charge – who has already refereed this fixture once in his career (6 February 2011, Inter 5-3 Roma in Serie A) – the sides with the two best attacks and defences go head to head.
Some other interesting stats also emerge when you look at who has scored the goals for the two teams. Roma have shared the goals around with nine different men on the scoresheet already this term, namely: Balzaretti, Benatia, De Rossi, Florenzi, Gervinho, Ljajic, Pjanic, Strootman and Totti. Inter are second in this regard (alongside Fiorentina) with eight different marksmen: Alvarez, Cambiasso, Icardi, Jonathan, Milito, Nagatomo, Palacio and Taider.
Finally, Inter lead the way with regards to the number of goals scored by players coming off the bench. Icardi and Milito have both scored twice off the bench for Mazzarri's men. Giallorossi substitutes meanwhile have found the net on three occasions: all of them have been scored by Ljajic.
