MILAN - A day on from his side's win over Fiorentina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, president Massimo Moratti spoke to the press outside his offices in Milan's city centre.
It's a great morning after yesterday's win, right?
"Yes, it's a lovely morning but we've another match in a little over 48 hours so we're already nervous about that!"
Have you seen something of Mourinho's Inter in this team?
"No, there are no comparisons to be made, this is a team with character that has players with self respect who want to show – with everything they've got, all the training they do – what they can do on the pitch."
Can we start talking about the Scudetto again?
"Listen, if you say that to me every game and then when we lose... No, we're at the start, we'll try to do well one game at a time."
What are your thoughts on the Guarin incident?
"Who knows, I don't, I didn't see what happened and – to be honest – I didn't ask. I saw him afterwards but he was calm, I think he was disappointed with what had happened. But he's a good kid, so his reaction – which was probably wrong – is to be placed within that context."
Cambiasso made the difference again...
"Decisive, he drove the team on and scored. He did everything a player can do, I'm happy for him and his family, given that he was celebrating a new arrival."
Who has impressed you the most in this early part of the season?
"I'm really happy for Jonathan and Alvarez and the fact they're two very important figures for the club and team."
