ALVAREZ: "WE LOOKED LIKE A REAL TEAM"

Argentine spoke exclusively to Inter Channel: "We were a bit disappointed at the end because we could have won it but we're happy with how we played"

MILAN - Inter Channel spoke to Ricky Alvarez after he set up the opening goal in Inter's 1-1 draw with Juventus.

The Argentine playmaker began: "I think we looked very good out there today, like a real team. We're starting to see the work we've been putting in and I'm happy about that. Regardless of the result I think if we play like that every game it will be hard for any opponent to take points away from us here. Juve didn't have many clear-cut chances. It's a pity we conceded straight after taking the lead but a draw is a fair result given the way the game went.

"As I've always said, I think it's important for a player to be physically fit. We worked hard during the pre-season and we're seeing that in games now - sometimes there are three of us chasing a ball.

"We still need to improve a lot because we're only at the beginning but we're pleased because we were playing the best team in Italy in recent years. We were a little disappointed at the end though because we could have won it. I was expecting a different type of cross when they scored, the ball took a deflection and Vidal did brilliantly. Credit to them. It was an evenly balanced affair and we did very well to break the deadlock."
