PRIMAVERA, PESCARA 1-3 INTER

Salvatore Cerrone's lads take their early-season haul to 7 points from 9 with a solid away win. Goals by Colombi, Tassi and Camara

PESCARA – The Inter Primavera team travelled to Pescara this afternoon for their Week 3 fixture of the Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti. Salvatore Cerrone's young guns went into the match having collected a draw (after coming from behind at Brescia) and a win (at home against Cittadella) in their first two outings. The coach went with a 3-4-3 formation, new signing Michael Ventre joining Camara and Colombi in a three-pronged attack.

Colombi broke the deadlock midway through the first period with a fiercely struck free kick, but Inter were lucky to still be in front at the half-hour mark after Pescara were denied by the post in the 29th minute. Shortly afterwards the Nerazzurri doubled their lead with a fabulous goal: Camara set up Tassi in the centre of the box following some neat work and the midfielder blasted home below the crossbar.

Guye's headed goal three minutes after the break got his side back into the contest and forced Inter onto the back foot. Cerrone's lads found themselves having to defend for most of the second half but managed to keep things tight until Camara put the game to bed with a superb angled finish in the 89th minute.
