NEW
JERSEY - A few hours from the start of Inter v Valencia, the Nerazzurri’s
second Guinness International Champions Cup encounter, Marco Andreolli spoke
about the match that will see the Nerazzurri in action on the pitch at MetLife
Stadium.
"We’ll
have to look to take more steps forward obviously. We’re going through a
preparation period and working hard, and we’re hoping to give something more
and make fewer mistakes in each game. Both Hamburg and Chelsea, the last teams
we faced, were a bit ahead of us in terms of preparation. I don’t know at what
point Valencia are at, but what we’re interested in is playing our game and
trying to correct the mistakes we made on the pitch in Indianapolis."
Then
on the environment the Nerazzurri have encountered so far in the USA:
"There’s a great atmosphere here with beautiful stadiums and a lot of fans
and support. We have the opportunity to face some big teams. We’re certainly
pleased with this and it encourages us to do even better."
