MILAN - The Nerazzurri will be in action in St. Louis, Missouri on 10 August, in a friendly against Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid. The match will be played at the Edward Jones Dome at 13:00 local time (20:00 CET).
The facility, built at a cost of $280 million, was first opened in 1995 (under the name of The Trans World Dome) and has a capacity of 67,000 (all-seater). It's part of the America's Center, which has hosted numerous conventions. The stadium is home to the St. Louis Rams, who play in the NFL's West Division. The arena is fully covered by a roof and the pitch is made of artificial turf.
The Edward Jones Dome holds the record for the largest covered gathering of people in the history of the United States, with more than 104,000 people attending a mass given by Pope John Paul II in 1999. The arena has also played host to some memorable concerts, including U2, the Rolling Stones and Metallica.
