APPIANO GENTILE – Here we go again. With new ideas, new projects, new players, but
with the same commitment and conviction as always. That also goes for Ivan Cordoba, the Nerazzurri team manager who, on the day that training
restarted at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti, gave an exclusive interview to
Inter Channel that aired on Internews.
"Today is the first day of training. There’s a lot of motivation and
desire to get on the ball and sow the seeds so that we can reap the benefits during
the season. Next week we’ll be back in Pinzolo where we’ve always been very happy in
the last few summers. That’s why we’re going back there. The organisation
is very supportive for both for the team’s work and all the other activities
involved. We’re also pleased to go back because it’s become a home just for
Inter," stated Cordoba.
"We’ll play two friendlies in Pinzolo and one in Rovereto, with a progressive increase in difficulty. I think they’ll be important tests for the coach, the kind of work he wants to carry out and the players he wants to utilise next season. There’s a lot of work ahead of us. The season will be intense, even though we won’t be in Europe, but wearing these colours still brings with it a lot of responsibility. I’m ready for this new adventure and so is the coach, the staff and the players, because we feel a bit indebted and want to make up for last season."
