MILAN – Deutsche Bank is Inter's new Top Sponsor after a partnership agreement was signed today. The German banking company, whose second biggest European market is in Italy, thus takes its first step into the world of Italian football.
FC Internazionale chief executive Marco Fassone expressed his delight with the arrangement: "We have a highly reliable partner with whom we can share strategies for the benefit of our fans. Deutsche Bank's interest in Inter and its new commercial policy which resulted in the signing of this agreement is a demonstration of esteem in our regard. We are proud to be the only Italian football club that has such a highly renowned partner - active in Italy since 1977 - as our Official Bank."
One of the effects of the partnership will be a series of benefits for Inter fans in terms of financial and banking services. The first is the financing of 2013/14 season tickets, for which supporters can subscribe at 'Solo Inter' in Via Berchet 1 and 'Pirelli Corso Venezia' in Milan. In future fans will be able to apply for services aimed specifically at our supporters at competitive rates, current accounts, investment offers and credit cards at Deutsche Bank branches.
Flavio Valeri, Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank Italia, said: "It is with great pride that we can announce the start of our partnership with Inter today. This is an important step for our institute: for the first time since we began operating in Italy 30 years ago we are now the sponsor of a football club. This is a further sign of Deutsche Bank Group's commitment to Italy."
