MILAN - Salvatore Cerrone will take the reins of Inter's Primavera side for the coming season, as revealed by Nerazzurri youth academy head Roberto Samaden live on Sky Sport 24 this afternoon.
Cerrone is a coach who has grown with Inter and won with Inter since joining the FC Internazionale youth academy in 2000. He gave his thoughts on being promoted to the Under-19s exclusively to inter.it.
"I'd like to thank president Massimo Moratti, Marco Branca, Piero Ausilio, Roberto Samaden and Pierluigi Casiraghi. They are the people who have given me this huge opportunity and I aim to make the most of it. It's an honour and a privilege to coach Inter's Primavera. I'm looking forward to having a successful season. After 13 years spent working with Inter's youth teams, I'm obviously delighted to have been given this responsibility and I know what an important position it is. As I said, I'm going to give it my very best shot."
