MILAN - On 26 May, fifty years ago, the 1962/63 Serie A season ended. Inter,
who had already mathematically won their eighth Scudetto in their previous
match against Modena, played against Torino at the San Siro in a 1-1 draw, with
Sandro Mazzola finding the net for the Nerazzurri. It was at this moment that
the era of Helenio Herrera’s "Grande Inter" began.
