CASABLANCA - Inter Campus travelled to Casablanca in Morocco in May, to the shacks and sprawling housing in the Sidi Moumen neighbourhood, on the outskirts of the city. The team worked alongside non-profit organisation Soleterre and local association El Messir. Over the last few months the climate has made the pitches very hard, which has caused a lot of young boys, and especially girls, not to show up to training sessions.
Inter Campus immediately tried to find a solution to this problem: with a little help, in under a month, the pitch will once again be playable, allowing many boys and girls to get back out there with the newly arrived kit from Inter.
The local educators were as enthusiastic as ever, because Inter Campus training is becoming well-known in the area and other coaches are asking to get involved. No doubt the upcoming sessions in the autumn will be very crowded!
