KUZMANOVIC: "A WIN ON SUNDAY FOR OUR FANS"

Midfielder in interview with Mediaset: "It won't be easy against Udinese. We have confidence in Stramaccioni. Kovacic has a great career ahead of him"

APPIANO GENTILE – Zdravko Kuzmanovic gave an exclusive interview to Mediaset's Marco Barzaghi today, speaking about his first six months at Inter and touching on a number of subjects.

"I'm happy to be here. We've been through some difficult moments and we expected to do better, to get into Europe, but we'll improve. I had a bit of a muscle problem but I'm over it now. I had to adjust to Italian football again after three and a half years away and that wasn't easy. Like Kovacic, I'm convinced that next year will be our season. We'll start over from scratch, we'll only have the league and the Coppa Italia so we'll be able to focus on those."

There will be lots of competition for places in midfield next year: "You expect that when you play for Inter. Holzhauser? He's young, I played a few games with him but saw him in training more than in matches. Markovic? Small and pacy, he's difficult to stop."

Next year Kuzmanovic hopes to continue with Andrea Stramaccioni: "He's our coach and we have a lot of confidence in him, we want to carry on with him."

On Kovacic: "He's coming along well, he's already picked up a bit of Italian and I'm very happy for him. I think he's got a great career ahead of him."

Finally, on Inter's last game of the season, against Udinese at the Meazza next Sunday: "We want to round off the year on a high for our fans. It's not going to be easy but I'm optimistic. My future? I'm staying put and glad to do so."
