MILAN – Victory for the Nerazzurri finally arrived in front of their home fans at the San Siro. Tommaso Rocchi provided the game-winner with his second goal for Inter, which also happened to be his 101st in the Serie A.
The first half ended scoreless after an excellent start for the Nerazzurri. In the second half Inter took the lead through Rocchi in minute 82 when Jonathan gathered Kovacic’s ball on the right and crossed towards the penalty spot, where the Inter forward swept it past a wrong-footed Mirante. The match also saw a great performance from Handanovic, who was once again decisive with his saves.
