INTER V PARMA STATS: 300 FOR HANDANOVIC

A selection of facts and figures from Football Data ahead of today's 12:30 showdown at the Meazza

MILAN – As we count down to the lunchtime kick-off (12:30) between Inter and Parma, we've put together this collection of facts and figures with a little help from our friends at Football Data.

Handanovic set to clock up 300 in Italy
Samir Handanovic will make his 300th competitive appearance in Italian football if he plays today. Since making his debut in a nine-goal Coppa Italia bonanza (Lecce 4-5 Udinese) on 20 November 2004, the Slovene shotstopper has turned out 299 times for Udinese, Treviso, Lazio and Rimini: 215 games in Serie A, 39 in Serie B, 13 in the Coppa Italia and 32 in European competitions.

One blank for Inter in 21 San Siro outings
Inter have failed to hit the net on just one occasion in their last 21 matches at the Stadio Meazza: Bologna left Milan with a 0-1 victory on 10 March. In the other 20 games in that periods, Stramaccioni's charges have banged in a total of 41 goals.

Parma misfiring for 205 minutes overall; 270 minutes away
Roberto Donadoni's side haven't scored since 30 March when they beat Pescara 3-0 in Serie A, Amauri netting Parma's third in the 65th minute. 205 goalless minutes have passed since then: the remaining 25 in that game plus the two league fixtures against Siena (0-0 away) and Udinese (0-3 at home). Parma's last goal on the road came on 15 February, in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of AC Milan. Sansone struck a 90th minute consolation for the visitors. Three away games – 270 minutes in total – have followed since then without a Gialloblu player getting on the score sheet: at Sampdoria (1-0), Roma (2-0) and Siena (0-0).

Parma winless at Inter since 1999
Parma have traditionally had a hard time of things against Inter at the Meazza. Today's visitors have registered just two victories in their last 25 visits, both of which came in the 1998/99 season: 0-2 (Coppa Italia) and 1-3 (Serie A). The Gialloblu have gone 14 games without triumphing in this fixture: nine defeats (all six of the last six) and five draws.

No luck for Stramaccioni against Donadoni, Inter coach playing at home for first time
Andrea Stramaccioni has lost both previous match-ups with Roberto Donadoni, the current Parma coach making home advantage count on both occasions: 3-1 last season and 1-0 in November 2012.
