CAGLIARI V INTER IN FOCUS

A selection of pre-match stats ahead of this afternoon's 15:00 kick-off, provided by Football Data

TRIESTE – We've put together a selection of facts and figures for you to peruse as we count down to this afternoon's 15:00 kick-off against Cagliari at the Stadio Nereo Rocco. Statistics are provided by Football Data.

Inter's 29-game scoring streak against Cagliari
Inter have hit the net at least once in each of their last 29 meetings with Cagliari, home and away, racking up 58 goals in total. The Sardinian outfit haven't managed to keep the Nerazzurri at bay for the full 90 minutes since 28 April 1996, when a scoreless draw was played out in Sardinia.

No bore draws for Nerazzurri in 2012/13
Inter and Roma are the only two teams yet to have been involved in 0-0 draw in 2012/13 Serie A. The last goalless stalemate for Stramaccioni's side's came away to Fiorentina on 22 April 2012, 35 matchdays ago.

Ranocchia's crosshairs lined up on Cagliari and Agazzi
Cagliari and goalkeeper Agazzi have been among Andrea Ranocchia's favourite targets during his professional career. Two of the defender's total 11 goals have been scored against the Sardinian outfit (the same number as Bologna and Chievo Verona) and their keeper (the same number as Agliardi).

Stramaccioni's two 2-2s vs. Rossoblu
Andrea Stramaccioni is facing Cagliari for the third time in competitive fixtures. Both previous encounters ended 2-2: on neutral turf in Trieste on 7 April 2012 and in Milan on 18 November 2012.

Cagliari chasing fourth consecutive home win in Serie A
Ivo Pulga's men have clocked up three home wins on the trot, all in the league: against Torino (4-3), Sampdoria (3-1) and Fiorentina (2-1). AC Milan were the last team to take points off them at home, in a 1-1 draw on 10 February. Should the Sardinians make it four in a row today, it would be their longest winning streak at home in competitive fixtures since October-November 2009, when they brushed aside Genoa (3-1), Atalanta (3-0), Sampdoria (2-0) and Juventus (2-0) one after another.

Nenè on for a ton in Italy, having made his debut in... Trieste!
Should he be involved at all in this afternoon's match, Nenè Anderson da Silva will be making his 100th appearance in a competitive fixture in Italy. His 99 to date have all come wearing the red and blue of Cagliari: 95 in Serie A and four in the Coppa Italia. Nenè made his debut on in a Coppa Italia tie between Triestina and Cagliari (1-0) on 16 August 2009.

Cagliari and Inter at opposite ends of yellow card spectrum
Cagliari are the team with the most bookings (92) in the 2012/13 Serie A season while Inter have collected the fewest (66) so far in the current campaign.
