STRAMACCIONI MEETS CSI COACHES IN MILAN

Afterwards he commented on the team's difficult spell and his relationship with president and fans

MILAN - Andrea Stramaccioni attended a meeting with 400 coaches from the Centro Sportivo Italiano this evening. The non-profit coaching association, whose mission is to educate through sport, held the gathering at its headquarters in Via Sant'Antonio, Milan. The theme of the evening was "Coaching to educate: face to face with professional sport. When youngsters' education is at stake".

The Nerazzurri coach then spoke to reporters on the sidelines of the event about his relationship with president Moratti. He explained that it's perfectly normal that the president isn't satisfied with the way things are going at the moment, reiterating that neither he nor the players are happy either, but stressed that the president's faith has always been a source of encouragement, even after a defeat.

The aim for the next ten games, Stramaccioni continued, is to see Inter restore a certain swagger to their game, which is something they seem to have lost recently. This is why they are focusing on analysing the second half of recent matches, when the team have shown more fight and better football. Inter's target is just four points away and getting the injured players back will help them to achieve it.

Inter's frustration following recent results is obviously shared by the fans. Stramaccioni said that he understood them and could ask nothing more of them, pointing out that they have done their bit by buying season tickets in record numbers. It's up to Inter to give more, he said.
