INTER JOIN ENERGY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

First football club to support 'M'illumino di meno', with captain Zanetti's backing

MILAN - FC Internazionale has joined the 'M'illumino di meno' energy awareness campaign, which is set to run its ninth edition on Friday 15 February. The campaign was created by Caterpillar of Italian radio station Radio 2 and has the high patronage of the Presidency of the Republic.

Everyone can take part starting at 17:00 on Friday, whether you're at home or work. There will also be public displays of support: in Milan the Sforza Castle and Palazzo Marino will turn off their outside lights, following the example of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.

Inter are the first football club to support the campaign, with Javier Zanetti representing the Nerazzurri, because we believe that following a sustainable lifestyle is important for our planet and actually very easy to do - we can all start at home.
