MORATTI: "COUTINHO, AN OPPORTUNITY"

"He might be able to get more playing time and it's a deal that could work out well for us"

MILAN – President Massimo Moratti gave a few statements as he arrived at the stadium, beginning with the possibility of Philippe Coutinho heading to England and Inter's interest in Paulinho: "There are certain opportunities that should be taken, sometimes players are able to get more playing time, and so I think it could be a great opportunity for Coutinho and a deal that might work out well for us. Does Paulinho cost too much, or is it something that could actually come to fruition? There's no doubt that he costs too much. Whether it could come to fruition is something we’ll see in the next few days."

The Nerazzurri president was then asked to comment on the controversial reactions from Juventus yesterday evening and whether he expects to see punishment handed out in light of the sanctions Inter have received this season: "I didn’t see what happened yesterday, so I can’t comment. And I’m not the vindictive type."

Finally, the president was asked if it would bother him if Balotelli joined AC Milan. "No," replied Moratti, without a shadow of doubt.
