MILAN - This morning Inter captain Javier Zanetti received the "Giacinto Facchetti - Il bello del calcio" award, organised by the Gazzetta dello Sport. Pupi took a moment to speak to Sky Sport Italia: "It's a huge award for me because it's named after Giacinto, one of the nicest people I met here and someone who I always strive to emulate. After ten straight wins, we suffered a defeat at a difficult place to go. Fair play to Atalanta, they were excellent. The match was very even and hard-fought. Are Juve moving away from the pack? There's still a long way to go and we'll respond immediately."
Zanetti had this to say when asked about his future: "I'm very relaxed, I'll talk to the president and the coach about what will happen. Are Inter Juve's main challengers? It's too early to talk targets, there's still many games to play, what we care about is continuing to progress. Juventus are Italian champions, we're a completely different team, we're a group of players that's improving but we've still got big room for improvement."
Finally a word on Antonio Cassano and Andrea Stramaccioni: "Antonio is very funny and I hope the coach has a great career because he deserves it."
