MILAN - "Rubin Kazan found space in the first half and made it difficult for us. Then we were on top in the second period but fell behind through carelessness." That was Javier Zanetti's assessment of the 2-2 draw with Rubin Kazan, as the captain gave his thoughts to Inter Channel after the match. He also explained that "it wasn't easy to control the ball because it kept running away from you."
Zanetti was asked whether going another game without a win at the Meazza might start to affect the team: "It mustn't become a burden for us but an added incentive. It won't affect morale."
The Nerazzurri skipper also had words of praise for Marko Livaja while offering his support to Jonathan: "I'm glad Marko scored. I hope it's the start of a wonderful adventure for him. Jonathan? I reassured him on the pitch: we have full confidence in him. He's a really decent lad who is dedicated in training. We must stick by him."
