BACAU – After Andrea Stramaccioni, it was Fredy Guarin's turn to field questions from the media. He started by weighing up the two legs against Hajduk Split in the previous round: "In the last round we played two games that were totally different. We must remember that in two-legged ties you have to stay focused right up until the end, whether the result is going in your favour or not. Inter can't run into a defeat like we did against Hajduk in San Siro."
The Colombian also spoke about the unique dangers posed by the Europa League, a competition he knows a bit about having won it with Porto: "There are two types of difficulty in a competition like this: the first is that you're playing in far-flung places that are hard to get to and that means undertaking long journeys; the second is that you meet teams that are perhaps not so well known but who are tough to play against, fired up and determined to win."
On tomorrow's match against Vaslui: "I think in this game it's a case of us playing against an opponent who everyone thinks will be a pushover. But we're going to have to be extremely careful because they are a team we don't know very well, they are going to be giving it their all and they'll be desperate to do well. We have to concentrate on winning, on playing well, on playing like Inter."
