So can we say that there's a great sense of satisfaction for the derby victory?
"Yes, without a doubt. I'm satisfied for both the derby and for my
players, because they showed how good they are, just as I knew and just as
their coach knew. And there's a great sense of satisfaction for the coach as
well. He's a young lad but he seems to have his own experience that allows him
to do things the right way."
Does Andrea Stramaccioni deserve to be confirmed as Inter coach?
"Yes, I think so. However, we took him in what seemed to him to be a crazy
move. But as far as I'm concerned it was an intelligent solution, also because he's an intelligent person. Therefore, I think he can
continue."
When considering the mistakes that were made yesterday evening as well, can we
say Inter have had an unlucky season as regards the refereeing?
"Yes, we can call it unlucky if you like. But yesterday there was a
certain determination in the first half fortunately, and we managed to turn the
game around after halftime."
Yesterday's derby will also be remembered as Ivan Cordoba's farewell to football.
"Yesterday evening with the player was lovely because it was sincere and
beautiful. It showed all the experience that he's gained and it will continue in
another way. Cordoba is a very smart and generous lad. He did very well as a
player and I believe he'll be able to do the same in a new role he'll find here
at Inter."
How exactly did Massimo Moratti view the Juventus Scudetto celebrations?
"It's obvious that they would celebrate; they deservedly won the league.
Hopefully they won't continue to polemicise. Right now they're happy, which I
find right. And I send them my congratulations; to their president and the
entire club, because they played a fantastic season."
