MILAN - Today at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti, the home of Inter's youth academy, the Barcelona players were welcomed as guests after their Champions League match played against AC Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Pep Guardiola's team used the facilities of the training centre before their return to Barcelona, which is scheduled for tomorrow because of a general strike that has been called in Spain.
The training session, which lasted approximately 90 minutes, was held on the centre pitch, which is the one used by the Primavera team for their home matches in the league.
Barcelona were received with incredible enthusiasm, as more than a thousand fans flocked to the training centre.
After training there was a meeting that was held at the edge of the pitch in which Inter's technical director Marco Branca, sporting director Piero Ausilio and youth academy director Roberto Samaden met with Barça's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and coach Pep Guardiola, who thanked the Inter staff for the welcome and complimented them on the facilities and the quality of the pitch that they utilised.
