TURIN
- Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Javier Zanetti did not hide his disappointment
at losing a game in which "Inter, particularly in the first half, played a
great game, and we did so at Juve's ground, in a stadium in which the
Bianconeri are unbeaten. We knew we could cause them problems, but we failed to
capitalise. We also started the second half well, but their goal took the wind
out of our sails."
Zanetti
explained how to go forward from here, saying: "We have to think Sunday
after Sunday. It's useless to make calculations. We have to try and win as much
as possible and do the best that we possibly can. It's been a negative season
and it's pointless trying to hide that."
Hugs
were shared with Gianluigi Buffon and Alessandro Del Piero, fellow players with whom
Zanetti has "shared many moments together as opponents," and words of
praise for the Inter Primavera team: "We need to congratulate these lads.
They showed great character, achieved an incredible feat and they're the future
of this club."
