APPIANO: A 90-MINUTE SESSION FOR THE BOLOGNA GAME

Personalised programmes for Alvarez, Cambiasso, Juan, Julio Cesar and Sneijder; two on recovery work

APPIANO GENTILE – The time it takes to play a match: 90 minutes was the length of the team's second training session this week in preparation for the match on Friday 17 February against Bologna, to be played at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan's San Siro district at 20:45. After warming up, the group carried out athletic drills and then worked on tactics and technique and finished with a mini-match.

Ricardo Alvarez, Esteban Cambiasso, Juan, Julio Cesar and Wesley Sneijder all had personalised programmes. Fredy Guarin and Walter Samuel worked on athletic recovery programmes. Goalkeeper Raffaele Dalle Vedove (1994, from the Juniores-Berretti squad) joined the group as Paolo Tornaghi is in the United States where he is training with Chicago Fire. Lorenzo Crisetig joined the Primavera squad for the Viareggio Tournament.

Tomorrow at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti the team will meet for their third training session of the week.
