STRAMACCIONI: "IMPROVEMENT OVER THE THREE GAMES"

"We were tense in our first match, better against Siena and excellent today. It was a very tough group"

VIAREGGIO - After the match against Reggina, which saw Inter obtain their pass for the round of 16 in the 64th edition of the Viareggio Cup, Andrea Stramaccioni commented on his boys' efforts: "We were in a very tough group and Inter have shown improvement over the three games. In our first match, against an excellent Anderlecht side, we were too tense. We looked better against Siena and then today we saw a very good Inter that created lots of chances and gave very little away."

The Inter coach then gave his opinion of today's opponents: "I want to pay Reggina my compliments because they showed that they are an excellent team."

He also commented briefly on the penalty 'missed' by Duncan: "He's our second penalty-taker [the first is Bessa, who had just been replaced by Falasca, Ed.], that's how he takes them, with a short run-up and placing them over to one side. Leone made a great save."
