RANIERI: "A TEST OF WILL AGAINST PALERMO"

Statements from the Nerazzurri coach on the eve of Inter v Palermo, tomorrow at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza

APPIANO GENTILE - "The difficult part is that we're coming off of two consecutive defeats, and Palermo have just posted two consecutive victories. They're on the rise and they have good players. We must now turn the page, and we have to play a strong game and show our desire." These were the words of Claudio Ranieri at the press conference ahead of tomorrow evening's match.

The coach continued: "This whole period is a turning point, not this one game. And these two hard slaps that we've just received are good because they say, 'Hey lads, what are you doing?' Tomorrow we'll see."

The Nerazzurri coach was then asked by reporters for some fresh news regarding Thiago Motta; was it true that he said goodbye to everyone at the end of training? "I didn't say goodbye to him, or rather I said goodbye to him just as I did to everyone else. On whether I put him in the squad list and why I think I'll have him tomorrow… well, there are 6 hours left before the transfer market closes, thank goodness…" smiled Ranieri.
