SERRAVALLE (SAN MARINO) - Academy striker Mattia Destro scored twice as Italy's Under-19 team beat Ireland 2-0 to finish Group 1 of UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying in first position with maximum points, winning a place in the Elite phase of the competition in France next March.
Destro played 81 minutes against Ireland, while his Inter Primavera team-mates Luca Tremolada and Luca Caldirola stayed on the pitch for the whole encounter.
