APPIANO GENTILE - Part two of Walter Samuel's news conference:
Samuel, after the two Champions League matches against Ajax, what do Inter have to do to keep improving?
"We should try to play like we did against Ajax at the Meazza on Tuesday. We were very focused and you could see that we were capable of scoring at any time, whereas in Amsterdam we made a very bad start to the match and we could have let in even more goals. They all say we have to kill off matches earlier, but it's not easy because there are also your opponents on the pitch and maybe they're playing well. The most important thing was to get through the round and have the right focus on the pitch."
Do you think Adriano's penalty miss against Ajax might have affected him?
"I really don't think so. He's a good player, a lot more is needed for him to get disheartened."
Is there the risk of you focusing your attention more on the Champions League than the championship?
"Absolutely not. With Juventus so far in front, it is very important for us to finish in second place. We're not giving up in the championship. We have a very difficult match against Lazio on Sunday. Those who play will certainly be very focused on doing well."
