MILANO- Inter beat Ruch Chorzow 4-1 and qualified for the second round ofthe UEFA Cup. Such a good result was expected given that the first legmatch didn't cause us any problems. Our opponents were very determined but couldn't do much against Recoba's speed on the field. And in fact hescored the first goal from a penalty. Hakan Sukur is still looking for agoal but in spite of this played well. Everybody is still waiting to seewhat he can do. Inter had the deserved 2-0 win thanks to Seedorf. Recobawent off in the second half and for a while the squad seemed to lose their steam.
Ruch Chorzow took advantage of the situation and made the result 2-1. Inter were immediately back on track and Seedorf helped the situation by scoring his second goal from midfield. A few minutes later, Colombo, who made his debut in the first team yesterday, finished off the match and made the score 4-1. At last we can say that Inter really deserved to win. But what's more important is that Lippi kept his promise and Inter didn't disappoint their supporters.
