Bayern München host Internazionale on Tuesday at Allianz Arena for an UEFA Champions League group stage match between two in-form teams who have already clinched a place in the knockout round.

 

Bayern München's last group stage match saw them triumph 3-0 over Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou, their fifth Champions League victory in a row this season. Sadio Mané, Eric Choupo-Moting, and Benjamin Pavard were on the scoresheet in the win. Bayern München won the first group stage meeting between the teams 2-0 at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on 7 September. Leroy Sané scored in the 25th minute for the German side. They also benefited from an own goal by the Nerazzurri's Danilo D'Ambrosio.

The attacking midfielder is the side's top scorer with four goals, which is tied for the fifth highest in the competition in 2022/2023, two of which have been the tone-setting first of the match. Dzeko has been the most prolific player for Inter, scoring on three occasions in this Champions League campaign, including one match-opening goal.
