46' Juventus lead Inter 1-0 at the break, thanks to Diego's goal in the tenth minute.
45' One minute of injury time.
44' Penalty claim turned down. Thiago Motta gets into the box from the right and his cross is handled by Felipe Melo. Referee Antonio Damato waves away the protests.
43' Amauri wriggles past Lucio on the by-line but can't find a way past Materazzi. Inter break and win a free kick after a foul by Chiellini but nothing comes of it.
42' Maicon gets a yellow card for tripping Diego.
41' Maicon effortlessly bursts past Grosso down the right but De Ceglie gets back to tackle the Inter defender and concede a corner.
37' Grosso sends a dangerous shot on target from 25 yards. Toldo redeems himself for that mistake in the tenth minute, getting down at his right-hand post to make a brilliant save.
36' Santon wins us a free kick 30 yards from goal after a foul by Candreva. Sneidjer's curler is more a cross than a shot, but Buffon gets off his line and punches away.
35' Sneijder looks for Pandev in the box but overhits his through ball for the Macedonian.
32' Balotelli is barged off the ball by Chiellini on the right wing. Sneijder's outswinging free kick is headed clear by Amauri and Maicon pounces on the loose ball, firing wide from distance.
31' Thiago Motta gets on the end of a loose ball and fires high over Buffon's bar.
30' Diego's 20-yard free kick is over the wall and into the arms of Francesco Toldo.
29' Candreva combines with De Ceglie and serves Amauri, who is sent clattering to the ground by Materazzi just outside the area. Free kick.
24' It's three versus three as Sneijder dispossesses Sissoko and runs towards goal. He has Pandev on his right and Balotelli on his left. He serves the Italian who shoots straight at Buffon from the edge of the box.
20' Inter chance. Maicon does a defence-splitting one-two with Pandev, blazing over his angled effort from the return pass.
19' Balotelli tries to punish a defensive error by Grosso but his long-range effort is well off-target.
17' Free kick to Juve after a foul by Cambiasso on Diego out on the left wing. The Brazilian playmaker's curling free kick is saved by Toldo.
13' Juve's masked men Grygera and Cannavaro exchange passes and work the ball back to Buffon to deny the onrushing Pandev.
11' Inter pour foward in search of a quick reply and Balotelli controls a long pass from Cambiasso before forcing a save from Buffon. Nothing comes from the corner.
10' GOAL. Diego takes on Cambiasso on the left edge of the area, cuts inside and rifles a low shot on target that goes through Toldo's legs. He really should have saved that. INTER 0-1 JUVENTUS.
7' Balotelli gets past Grosso on the right and pokes into the box for Pandev. Cannavaro intercepts. Moments later Sneijder fires high and wide.
5' The Mali midfielder is okay to continue.
4' Sissoko requires medical attention after landing awkwardly following an aerial duel with Thiago Motta on the halfway line.
3' Balotelli races on to a long ball down the left and muscles past Chiellini before seeing his shot spin off Grygera.
2' Toldo is quick off his line to beat Diego to Cannavaro's long through ball.
1' Juventus were hoping he wouldn't play. But that two-match Serie A ban for the red card in the derby means José Mourinho won't rest his talismanic playmaker in tonight's Coppa Italia clash. When Wesley Sneijder plays, Inter don't lose. And the Dutch maestro averages a goal every three games, with 6 goals (all decisive ones) in 18 games for the Nerazzurri.
1' Inter kick off. FORZA NERAZZURRI!!!!
1' The prize for the winners tonight is a two-legged semi-final encounter with Fiorentina, who ousted Lazio in their quarter-final. The first leg will take place next week with the return match seven days later.
1' Juve have a certain Filippo Boniperti on the bench tonight. Filippo is the grandson of Bianconeri legend Giampiero Boniperti, who hung up his boots in 1961 after a 9-1 win against Inter. On that occasion the Nerazzurri famously played their Primavera team in a protest against the Italian FA. Sandro Mazzola made his debut in the same game. Doesn't look like we'll see a similar result tonight.
1' This is the seventh Coppa Italia quarter-final between the two teams. As it stands it's three victories apiece, the most recent last-eight meeting coming in 2007/08 when Mario Balotelli burst on to the Italian football scene with a famous brace in a 3-2 return-leg victory after a 2-2 draw in Milan.
1' Inter: 1 Toldo; 13 Maicon, 6 Lucio, 23 Materazzi, 39 Santon; 4 Zanetti, 19 Cambiasso, 8 Thiago Motta; 10 Sneijder; 45 Balotelli, 27 Pandev. &#8232;Subs: 12 Julio Cesar, 2 Cordoba, 7 Quaresma, 11 Muntari, 22 Milito, 25 Samuel, 89 Arnautovic. <br> Juventus: 1 Buffon; 21 Grygera, 5 Cannavaro, 3 Chiellini, 6 Grosso; 22 Sissoko, 4 Melo, 26 Candreva, 29 De Ceglie; 28 Diego, 11 Amauri. &#8232;Subs: 13 Manninger, 15 Zebina, 27 Paolucci, 32 Yago, 33 Legrottaglie, 39 Marrone, 43 Boniperti.
1' Sneijder takes his usual place at the tip of a diamond midfield, with Zanetti and Thiago Motta either side of Cambiasso who will protect an Italo-Brazilian back line of Maicon, Lucio, Materazzi and Santon - who continues at left-back after his impressive Milan derby performance. Francesco Toldo makes his second appearance of the season between the posts after his clean sheet against Livorno in the last sixteen. Up front it's firepower galore with Balotelli and Pandev.

Nerazzurri unbeaten at home in Coppa Italia since December 2002

Inter's last home defeat in the Italian Cup was a 2-1 loss to Bari on 12 December 2002. The Nerazzurri have since played 22 home games in the competition, winning 17 and drawing 5.

Inter chasing third consecutive clean sheet in Coppa

Sampdoria's Giampaolo Pazzini was the last player to score a Coppa Italia goal against Inter. It came in the 42nd minute of the Blucerchiati's 3-0 semi-final first leg win on 4 March 2009. The Nerazzurri have kept clean sheets in their successive two cup games (1-0 victories at home to Sampdoria and Livorno). In Coppa Italia games at home, the Nerazzurri haven't conceded since Rodrigo Taddei's 60th-minute goal in the 2-1 victory over Roma in last season's quarter-finals.

Inter unbeaten at home since November 2008

Inter last lost at home on 26 November 2008 when they were beaten 1-0 by Panathinaikos in the Champions League. In their successive 32 European and domestic fixtures at home, José Mourinho's team have won 23 and drawn 9.

Mario Balotelli & goals against Juve

Inter's Mario Balotelli has scored three goals in matches against the Bianconeri out of his total of 23 goals in professional football - more than against any other team apart from Palermo and Roma.

Del Piero in sight of Anastasi record

With his brace of goals against Napoli in the round of sixteen, Alessandro Del Piero has brought his tally of Coppa Italia goals for Juventus to 23, overtaking Bettega and Sivori. Bianconeri captain Del Piero is now within sight of Pietro Anastasi's club record of 30 goals in the national cup.

Bianconeri goalless in one of last 18 cup games

Juventus have failed to score in just one of their last 18 Coppa Italia matches (a 0-0 extra-time draw with Napoli on 4 February 2009 that ended in a 4-3 penalties win for the Turin outfit). In the other 17 games Juventus have scored a total of 41 goals.

No Juve draw in 18 games

Juventus have won 9 matches and drawn as many since their last draw, a 1-1 Serie A stalemate at home to Fiorentina on 17 October 2009.

Buffon looking to keep clean sheet on 32nd birthday

Gianluigi Buffon will be hoping to celebrate his 32nd birthday with a clean sheet against Inter in the Tim Cup quarter-finals. But the Juventus keeper has conceded more against the Nerazzurri than any other team (31 goals out of a total of 500).

MILAN - Mario Balotelli scored a minute from time as the Nerazzurri came from behind to defeat Juventus and set up a Tim Cup semi-final against Fiorentina.

Inter were behind early on when Diego scored from a free kick. The Bianconeri's lead lasted until the 72nd minute when Lucio slotted in the equaliser.

With time running out Balotelli put his seal on another Nerazzurri comeback with his fourth career goal against Juventus and seventh goal of the season.

Diego gave his under-fire coach Ciro Ferrara something to smile about in the tenth minute when he burst past Cambiasso on the left and created space before firing a low shot under Francesco Toldo.

Balotelli forced a save from Buffon and Maicon sent an angled effort over after one-twoing with Pandev as the Nerazzurri fought for an equaliser, but the visitors created chances to add to their lead and Toldo made amends for his earlier mistake when he kept out a strong long-range shot from Grosso.

On the stroke of half time Inter had a penalty claim waved away by referee Antonio Damato when Felipe Melo blocked Thiago Motta's cross with his right hand.

It was just the kind of decision to jolt the Nerazzurri into action and Mourinho's men made the better start to the second half, but Juve threatened first when Chiellini headed Diego's cross on to the outside of the post.

A change was needed and Mourinho withdrew Cambiasso, introduced Milito and suddenly it was all Inter. The reward came with less than twenty minutes remaining when Sneijder's free kick spun off the wall and Lucio beat Chiellini at the far post to poke home.

Buffon made vital blocks from Milito and Balotelli as the Nerazzurri went all-out for a winner, and with extra time looming the Italian striker stunned the Bianconeri with an unstoppable shot from close-range after Buffon parried away Thiago Motta's 20-yard drive.
